The primary gate uses the key fob to release automatically; alternatively, there is a button on the gate that will allow the same release. A load stop function helps prevent items from falling out while loading in. The inner gate can automatically fold down to provide more access when loading and unloading. That same inner gate also releases to provide a large step for entry and exit from the bed, when the conventional hitch is removed. Additionally, the inner gate also includes a load stop to prevent stacked items from sliding out as well. Finally, the inner gate houses what can be used as a work surface or a taller access point for stacking additional cargo.
