SUMMER CAR MAINTENANCE TIPS

Summer is in full swing! It’s a great time to perform a routine maintenance check.
Use this checklist to be sure your car runs smoothly all summer long.

Windshield

Check wiper blades, seals and other rubber components for wear and tear.

Interior

Wipe down the interior console and dashboard and vaccuum seats and floors.
Wash and dry floor mats to get rid of sand, dirt, and grass.

Exterior

Apply a coat of wax every three months to help protect the paint
Check the tires and tread. Summer heat makes tires expand putting them at greater risk for a blowout.

Under the Hood

Monitor the oil levels, coolant, transmission, power steering, and brake fluid levels.
Squeeze hoses to test for cracks, and check for frayed belts that could indicate leaks.
Do a suspension check. Replace worn shocks, springs, and joints.
